Kailua-Kona, HI Mural

For the Kailua-Kona mural, I divided the long space into thirds: volcanoes, agriculture, and ocean. 

The first third shows sunrise at Mauna Kea and an erupting Mauna Loa. The airborne lava morphs into coffee cherries.

The second third shows the agriculture of Big Island: kona coffee and macadamia nut tree groves.

To transition to the last third, I morphed mango leaves into a bait ball of fish. There's a spotted eagle ray swimming through the bait ball. Then, you see fishermen with ahi and an outrigger canoe paddling in the shimmery water. There's also a distant slope to represent the Kona coastline.
